GENETIC diversity refers to genetic variability within and among species. Each individual species possesses alleles which are the source of its own unique adaptation features future biotic abiotic stresses. The greater a species, that this have chances long-term survival.Studying seed storage proteins patterns different Vicia germplasm was aimed characterize assess phylogenetic relationship defined 51 accessions collected by ICARDA (International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Area) from countries habitats. These represent nine subspecies; V. ervilia, monantha, villosa subsp. villosa, dasycarpa, eriocarpa, sativa nigra, amphicarpa, macrocacrpa sativa. seeds were used extract total since each is regarded as fixed physiological state. pattern variation molecular size those studied numerical analysis data obtained using SDS-PAGE technique. descriptive population statistics calculations based on band presence versus absence allele frequencies. Consequently, these generate pertinent information complement passport collections.
